Hi. I’m JD.

My best friend/wife Megan and I (and sometimes our awesome Corgi, Ruby) like to go on adventures. We’ve been doing this for over three years now.

I may retroactively write up some trip reports from our previous travels, but I am starting with our Aug.-Sept. 2014 trip to France and Belgium. Why now? Well, the France trip was so jam-packed that I realized I would forget too many small- but oh so important- details unless I wrote them all down…And if I could offer up any advice to others based on my experiences, then that would be a fine added bonus.

So, that is essentially the goal of this blog- to be an external hard drive for my memory as well as a guide (or at least a quasi-interesting read) for anyone!
